Whether it’s an industrial video about a frozen pink lab thingy... or a classic Hollywood movie, the idea is the same.  In this clip, the director shot this entire action twice. Once—all the way through—in a wide shot. And again—all the way through—in the closer shot. Then, the editor could make a decision: cut to the closer shot while the man is moving... or after he has stopped. Watch the clip and see the cut come during the movement, as it should.
