COLOR:
Television uses the "additive property of light"
(Paint uses the subtractive property of light, so the
rules are different there).
According
to the additive property of light, by mixing the 3 primaries
(Red, Green and Blue) in the right proportions, you
can create nearly ANY other color.
LEFT: Note the area where red and
green overlap--you get yellow. And
where blue and red overlap, you get
purple. Combining red, green and blue
light equally makes white light. That's
the additive property of light at
work.
