Diagonal Lines

Here’s another example. Shooting the car from the side (top example) results in a pretty dull shot—lots of horizontal lines.

But moving the camera a few feet and shooting the car at an angle (bottom example) results in a much more interesting and dynamic shot because it creates diagonal lines.

Look at the bottom edge of the car. In the bad example (top) it is parallel with the edge of the screen. But in the good example (bottom), the edges of the car form diagonal lines.
