Lens > Wide Angle

Wide angle landscapes--it's tough to make a focus error with this kind of shot.

Focus:
Focusing is a lot easier with a wide angle lens setting. In fact, it's pretty hard to screw up focus when you are shooting wide angle.

Ever wonder why those disposable still cameras don't have a focus adjustment. How can they make sure your shot is in focus? Are they magic? Is there built-in super-sophisticated fuzzy-logic chip built in? No and No. They just have a very wide angle lens. The result is that nearly everything is always in focus.

While most people would consider this attribute to be a positive, that's not always the case. As we discussed before, sometime you may not want everything in a scene in focus.
